For 30 years the finest Trad Jazz, swing and blues!
The band was founded in 1980. Although the British jazz style has been the band's main musical direction for years, the sound of the band was considerably extended in the last few years. Besides the traditional British jazz the Stable Roof now plays typical New Orleans jazz, swing, gospel, big city blues and even a bit of (swinging) soul music as well. So the band's repertoire is strongly diversified indeed! Startlingly, no number sounds like the previous track. But all strongly swinging and with a lot of 'drive'. And the public loves it!
The seven-piece Stable Roof Jazz & Blues band boasts a four-piece front line and a three-piece rhythm section. The band plays throughout Europe.The band has recorded 11 CD's and 4 DVD's.

Le band a été formé en 1980. Initialement on jouait dans le style British Trad. Au bout d'un certain temps l'orientation musicale était fortement étendue. Le Jazz Traditionnel comme New Orléans, Dixieland, Swing, Mainstream, Ellingtonia, mais aussi Blues, Soul et Gospel font partie du répertoire.
Au cours des années de son existence le Stable Roof Jazz & Blues Band a joué aux beaucoup de jazz festivaux prominents à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du pays. Le band a lancé 11 Compact Disques et 4 Dvds.
La distribution avec 7 musiciens offre la possibilité pour jouer avec 4 joueurs d'instruments à vent à la premiére ligne aussi bien qu'avec une section de rythme aux 4 personnes.
